- Election of Chairman of the Parish Council
Cllr Major proposed Cllr Bott; Cllr Mrs Sherwood seconded; carried.
- Election of Vice Chairman of the Parish Council
Cllr Bott suggested that Cllr Mrs Smith continue as Vice Chairman; this was agreed by Cllr Mrs Sherwood and Cllr Major.
- Election of Committees
The Parish Council is too small to warrant Committees.

This had been circulated to the Councillors before the Meeting.
14 PCSO Leathers Report
This had been circulated to the Councillors before the Meeting.
15 Parish Clerk’s Report
The Clerk is met Kim Squires from Toplis Associates on 3rd May to discuss the Audit; all was
in order.
She had received an email from Andrea Davis regarding the Register of Interests, and
reminded Councillors to forward the forms directly to Andrea.
16 Finance
The Clerk had circulated the Bank Reconciliation for the end of the year (31st March) prior to
this Meeting; since then, a number of cheques had been cashed, the Precept had been received and the balance at 29th April was £7255.86 in the Current Account and £3537.98 in the Business Reserve Account.
Nat West have increased their interest rates; the payment on 29th April was 25p.
Cllr Mrs Smith had given permission for two cheques to be paid to Lynne Bott.
The insurance was discussed and it was agreed to continue with Zurich Mutual.

The Clerk has heard from two families who have children under 16.
19 Update on the stolen bench
Cllr Mrs Sherwood will get two quotes to be forwarded to Zurich Mutual.
20 Correspondence
The Queen’s Canopy – it was agreed not to take part.
Email from Julie Birchell regarding the flags at Primary Works, Thorney Lanes; Cllr Beech will
contact ESBC regarding planning permission; the Clerk will reply to Julie and will forward her
email to Cllr Beech.
21 Members Points of Information
Cllr Mrs Sherwood has a plant which was given to Hoar Cross after the BKV in 2020; she will
plant it in the village.
